Al Megrahi - Lockerbie Bomber Released

Recommended Posts

BBC News are showing live pictures of a police convoy transporting Al Megrahi to Glasgow Airport where he's going to be flown home on a Libyan A340.

What's the chance his plane blows up over Libya?

The theory that Iran was responsible makes a lot of sense.Hopalong Cassidy just wanted to pin it on Gaddafi for political reasons.

here are some facts.

1. He was found guilty in a court of law, for the murder of hundreds.

2. He has served less than two weeks in prison for each victim.

Another example of the superb, professional justice system in the UK.

He was released on compassionate grounds. omfg. Where was his compassion for the 270 victims. Those who fell 38000 feet, strapped to their seats, and those who woke up in the middle of the night in their own beds covered in burning jet a1. Our government are scum.

If he is so not guilty, why did he drop his appeal? Why has his conviction not been struck out?

I personally hope the cia put a cap in the ass of mr scottish kenny, the man who freed him.

Does not compute. Compassionate release does not imply innocence.

Kangaroo Court, poor man was a patsy sacrificed for political expediency. It was an act of compassion, frankly too little too late.

The late great Paul Foot exposed the whole web of lies in Private Eye back in 2001. The have rereleased the whole series of articles online for a fiver

An internal observer said the case was garbage. The Scottish appeals court agreed and was probably going to release him anyway, letting him go now avoid that embarrassment.

I don't think he has got cancer.

He would be dead long before any appeal would have been allowed. As many have already pointed out the conviction has been in question since the trial. I have an enormous amount of compassion for the families of the people who died that night. I also have enormous amounts of compassion for the families of the people killed by the cowboy captain of the USS Vincennes five months earlier which I believe is where the search for the truth about Pan Am103 should begin. Try Paul Foot's investigation as well, its a fiver to download but worth a look. We will NEVER know for sure now whether Abdelbaset Al Megrahi was guilty and that is another crime piled on the already huge and painful losses suffered in America and Iran and Scotland.

if you ever needed a reason t o show how global energy controls the world, here is one.

He's a fall guy, pure and simple. It's only because of Libya's new-found value that this guy is free.

Anyone remember the Iranian Airbus shot down by the US?

Yeah - The USS Vincennes incident. No apologies and the Captain was given a medal for killing 290 people including 60 children the July before Pan Am 103 was downed.

Twas the Syrian, Abu Nidal IIRC.

The Pam Am flight was a CIA drugs flight, making money for the CIA to fight the Nicaraguan Contras, or similar.

Low security on the flight then infiltrated by Nidal. Explosives couldn't have been where the official story places them.

Blamed on Libya (after originally blaming Syria) to get Terry Waite & co freed.

It's boring to hear the sheeple believing the official version, but only to be expected if you take the blue pill.

Normally busy flight was only half full, after diplomats were pre-warned. FBI & CIA teams in place to round up the drugs evidence on the ground.

All well documented.
