Damn. Does this mean I shouldn't expect global harmonisation of wages and conditions to the lowest possible level?

I've been ready to work in the street from a bucket with a rusty knife for a few months now.

Such a disappointing thread.

From the title I guessed we would be on a chav elimination crusade, but alas not :(

The globalists and idiotic middle managers have been proclaiming how wonderful it is that we have such a globally mobile workforce whilst secretly loving the fact that it really is a race to the bottom. What they don't like is when wages drop to a level that makes their ridiculously overpriced houses worth less. It's so inconvenient for them when their plans have unintended consequences. It's now a race to see who can most successfully prop up house prices with the lowest wages.

The ever expanding eu workers can still come in whether we like it or not. It hurts them more than it helps the UK workers.

is it legal to text whilst horseriding

someone just went passed my house doing it

It depends on whether you are looking where you are going or not. Trees have a habit of appearing from nowhere when on horseback, much to the detriment of the rider. No air bags or crumple-zones on horseback unfortunately.

Provided the engine is no more than 1hp then it's legal... I suggest you take your trusty steed to Parliament square if you want to change the law on such matters.

So it's legal to text while cycling? I can assure you that my legs are not capable of anything like 1hp. Mind you, I wouldn't text while actually in motion - I need all my hands on the bike, except for when I'm signalling.
