Mpc Voted 6-3 For Extra £50bn Qe

Recommended Posts

QE is the "in phrase" for increasing the money supply.

Increases in the money supply have been growing since the end of WW2.

Go search engines for different countries graphs on the amounts.

QE is old wine, nothing new.

All the graphs are the same, from 1940 there is a steady increase, 50's through 60's a sharp rise, then from the 70's to 2008 it goes exponential.

After that all graphs go straight up on the charts. Gives the phrase "to da moon" a whole new genre to be expressed in.

The post war boom was built on the printing press, the recent boom was, and now they are hoping to dig themselves out of the hole they are in with a "flawed plan" from the same gentleman who claimed his "thinking was fundamentally wrong" (Feds Greenspan)

Maybe King believes that as this trick has worked for 70 years it can work a while longer.
