Cameron Warns In Guardian (ouch! Lol) Britain Could Default

Recommended Posts

Sounds like the tory boy has just upped the ante.

If true then its a good little ploy - best to get sterling to go down whilst Labour are in power.

Mind you - if he is saying that we are past the point of ever being able to repay then this is a nuke!

There is no shame in going to the IMF. Everyone does it. Its normal and as long as its to invest over the fiscal cycle it is good!

We would only go bankrupt if we tried to pay it back.

Tories are slowly realising that they have this Autumn only for the economy to be well shagged re another FTSE crash, banking crisis, whatever.

If they don't get that then the way this madness is working out the sheeple will vote Brown back in next May - all those Public Sector workers have no idea there is even a recession on!

Cameron has just lost what little credibility (and friends in the City) he had. I can see him going the same way as Major in the credibilty stakes (mind you at least Major made it to PM, Davey boy wont at this rate)

Very flamboyant comments.. sure to stir up the press for a couple of days.

I expect it's incase everything goes tits up after the election he can turn around and say "it's not our fault.. we told you this would happen.."
