No it's not.

It's a bed sized shelf at the top of a ladder, right in the slope of the roof.


£80k they want too.

It's a mezzanine as in "Please Mr Bank Manager can you sell me a sub-prime mortgage on this pokey house - you could then re-package it and sell it on as "a-bed-sized-shelf-at-the-top-of-a-ladder-right-in-the-slope-of-the-roof" financial product.

It was bought last year at £67k, so I wonder if he'd watched too much property porn and thought putting a mattress on a shelf was making it into a 1-bed flat and therefore worth more.

£1 says it doesn't sell for a year - and then it goes for £43k, or just gets pulled/not sold.

Looking at this studio flats reminds me of my youth spent in various Young Offenders. The dimensions of these flats are similar to a decent sized two person cell. Why would anyone pay £80k for such or place?
