Barrat Flat Development Near Me

Recommended Posts

Last year they (Barrats) began building several blocks of flats by Slough train station.

They were marketing them as professional pads, for about 200k for a 1-bed flat.

No-one has done anything to them for months. Barrat branded Cranes stand alongside, completely inactive. Tarpaulins flutter and protect the bare masonry and steel open to the elements. Am I right in thinking this is what happens when bubbles pop? Companies like Barrat then cease finishing and sit on the pand perhaps in hope of better times in the future? WWhat's the deal here?

if you like that sort of view, take a trip to Fuerteventura..places we saw being marketed like mad two years ago still just steel frames.

when we first went, there was a landgrab...the locals had decided that after September/October or whatever, any works not actually started with some foundationwork, would not get planning.

they were digging up everywhere around Correlejo.

the place is full of holes and steel frames this year. still good value IMPO for a holiday.

Barratts shares have been skyrocketing over the last few weeks. So have the other big housebuiders. They must be doing something right - mainly that they've avoided bankruptcy!!!!

could be banks investing QE money to fool the likes of Dr Bubb into calling a house price boom and not a bull trap.
