On the BBC News channel this morning they were talking about repossessions and they interviewed a woman from Shelter. She said that most banks had done all they could to keep people in their homes which was in the bank's interest while house price were low. Then she said she was worried that now house prices were rising banks maybe quicker to repossess!

What a complete loon that woman is!! Doesn't the silly cow realise that it's high anaffordable house prices that get people into too much debt and send them to Shelter? The LAST thing Shelter should be doing is talking up house prices! She should saying how good it is that house prices are falling towards affordability and that is for the general good.

She might work for Shelter but I bet she's got a mortgage herself. She won't want all that imaginary equity to vanish.

Just another VI to add to the long list. Tragic.

I sent am email to Shelter about that ramping this morning.

In the signature at the bottom of the read reply was this:

"Shelter believes everyone needs a home in a place where they can thrive.

We help over 170,000 people a year fight for their rights, get back on their feet, and find and keep a home. We also tackle the root causes of bad housing by campaigning for new laws, policies, and solutions.

Our work won't stop until there's a home for everyone."

They have a funny way of going about it - ramping house prices!
