Once again...the chav culture at work!

By all means, have this sh1thole country bulls! You'll be paying tax at 3/4 of your wages just to give these motherf*ckers a bump up the ladder! Soon to be in a street near you at a 1/4 of the price!

So, who did the murders before we created the chavs?

(Hope the hangover's not too bad, CR. Looks as if you had a good night out!)

Is it too right wing of me to suggest that an unemployed father and son shouldn't be able to afford to buy drinks in a pub? Unless it was redundancy money they were spending of course.

I've cut down on visits to the pub 'cos the supermarkets continually under-cut each other. Beer / lager often works out at £1.50 per litre (about 80p per pint). Don't get fooled by the crate sizes (24, then 20, then 18, now 15), work out the price per litre.

You can't be sure what that father and son's circumstances were. Perhaps they were celebrating another member of the family getting a job. For honest hard working tax payers its understandable you should feel bitter at what you suspect but just console yourself with this fact : you won't get rich scrounging benefits. You might be able to afford a red-top tabloid and a pint or two but what a waste of a life.

There's millions of new ideas just waiting to be turned into profitable businesses. What scroungers miss out on is the genuine fortune they could make and feelings of virtue they could enjoy with a little application. Pity the silly sods how shallow and empty their lives will be.

What I find strange is the variation in price between diifferent shops.

For eg. Spitfire and Ruddles 4-packs both below £4 in Tesco, yet around the £5.50 in Waitrose and Sainsburies.

Conversley Bass is around £5 in Tesco but only £3.5 in Sainsburies while Waitrose has HSB for under the £4 mark...

It's very simple, each shop decides how much margin it wants to make on an item and prices it accordingly.

I went to a Waitrose once, in ummm . . . Paddock Wood I think. Dear Lord! A small bag air basically came to 20 odd quid!

You need to pick your purchase wisely. Some stuff is cheaper in waitrose than anywhere else.

Best ever deal I got on single malts was in waitrose. Absolute bonanza! Talking 50% of what the distillery shops were charging.

They found some air in my shopping bag that I had not paid for as I was leaving. I was lucky not to be charged.

Yes, I was a bit suspicious too. Both his hands on my shoulders whilst he checked for goods hidden up my bum....there was something suspisous there.

I would stick to Lidl, if I were you.

I only ever really shop at Makro or if I'm feeling rich, Tesco Lotus. Always buy in bulk, saves 30% on grocery a year.

I go to Netto if I am feeling Rich.

Otherwise I am reduced to stealing from rats in the gutter.

It's a hard life, Bob.

I just take the pick-up into town every month, perhaps 6 weeks now. It takes an hour to get there and ain't too comfy.

Load the pick-up with all the bulk stuff, washing powder, soap, shampoo, frozen foods, sauces by 3.5l each etc. Driven the cost of living right down.

Always buy commercial sized packs of stuff, long shelf-life. Low unit cost.

My brother loves Lidl.He spent £100 there once and they had to close to re-stock. On the subject of the OP I think the clue may be that the victim was "a lovable rogue". Well clearly these two didn't love him but it takes two (or in this case three) to tango.Probably just another piss fuelled barney.Strangely I very rarely see it when I go to Southwold for a pint of Adnams.

I agree with your general point but in this particular case his own dad called him a "loveable rogue".

So sounds like 3 rogues had a ruck and one got killed. Hardly representative of the country.

I have never liked the Isle of Wight either, Jersey is so much nicer

Jersey was nice before it got Bergerac'ed.I first went there in 1980 but recently when I went back it seemed rather over commercialised, although the green lanes are nice.
