Gravity

Recommended Posts

I have been listening to wise people on this forum, who have opened up my mind to critical thinking.

It seems the brain dead masses are just prepared to swallow the so-called experts claim, blindly following the Government line.

It might be the Flu vaccine (or flu poison??!!) theory of evolution, the theory of Global warming or the theory of gravity. Ntoice people; THEORY! WAKE UP!

I have done some serious research into gravity, which our Government and their kow-towing experts claim definitely exists. Yet, their OWN RESEARCH into global warming showed something they would rather you did not know: Their weather balloons floated AWAY from Earth!

So much for their insistence that gravity will pull everything towards it!

You will not read that in their science propaganda- fortunately I have stumbled on a website by a sub-normal American teenager THAT TELLS THE TRUTH!!!

All I am saying is that we should debate gravity! Yet the expertsrefuse to even discuss the matter – they will not put their political Nu-LAB prejudice aside!

Instead they pretend you are stupid for even asking the questions! What have they got to hide?

Yes, there are people working on a gravity, thousands of scientists who are on huge salaries, some of which are over £20,000 a year! Guess what, the experts in this money making machine all demand that gravity exists!

I am not saying it does not, but we should be on our guard and have some healthy scepticism! Are you going to be brain washed or wake up and unquestioningly believe what I say IN CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!!! (with multiple exclamation marks)

It gets worse!!!

The experts best theory for how gravity works is that there are 11 dimensions adn most of them are just to small to see!

Then they claim that the power of gravity leaks in these other dimensions, which is why it does not have as much effect as their THEORY claims!

How many people have made money by CLAIMING THAT GRAVITY EXISTS!!!

Very good.

Or you are a total nutter, in which case, welcome home.

What they do not tell you in today's force fed education system is that Newton's THEORY of Gravity has been DISPROVED! Almost a hundred years ago!

We should be asking why they still force feed this to children!

:D

(PS Thanks!)

The first 100 days of an Obama administration promise a number of bold initiatives aiming to reinvigorate the U.S. economy and restore America’s international image. Key personnel in the Obama administration have been appointed to implement and ensure the success of such initiatives. Among these initiatives is the anticipated release of classified technologies based on antigravity propulsion principles that can revolutionize the energy and aerospace industries. Obama’s National Security Advisor, retired Marine General James Jones, will feature prominently in the releases of antigravity technologies and associated initiatives.

Classified antigravity technologies have been kept from the public realm for over six decades while secretly developed by military-corporate entities. It was revealed in 1992, for example, that the B-2 Bomber used electrostatic charges on its leading wings and exhaust. According to aerospace experts, this was confirmation that the B-2 used electrogravitic principles based on the Biefeld-Brown Effect. The Biefeld-Brown Effect is based on the research of Thomas Townsend Brown who in 1928 gained a patent for his practical application of how high voltage electrostatic charges can reduce the weight of objects.

Evangelical Scientists Refute Gravity With New 'Intelligent Falling' Theory

August 17, 2005 | Issue 41•33 | The Onion

KANSAS CITY, KS—As the debate over the teaching of evolution in public schools continues, a new controversy over the science curriculum arose Monday in this embattled Midwestern state. Scientists from the Evangelical Center For Faith-Based Reasoning are now asserting that the long-held "theory of gravity" is flawed, and they have responded to it with a new theory of Intelligent Falling.

Evangelical-Scientists-C.jpg

Rev. Gabriel Burdett explains Intelligent Falling.

"Things fall not because they are acted upon by some gravitational force, but because a higher intelligence, 'God' if you will, is pushing them down," said Gabriel Burdett, who holds degrees in education, applied Scripture, and physics from Oral Roberts University.

Burdett added: "Gravity—which is taught to our children as a law—is founded on great gaps in understanding. The laws predict the mutual force between all bodies of mass, but they cannot explain that force. Isaac Newton himself said, 'I suspect that my theories may all depend upon a force for which philosophers have searched all of nature in vain.' Of course, he is alluding to a higher power."

Founded in 1987, the ECFR is the world's leading institution of evangelical physics, a branch of physics based on literal interpretation of the Bible.

According to the ECFR paper published simultaneously this week in the International Journal Of Science and the adolescent magazine God's Word For Teens!, there are many phenomena that cannot be explained by secular gravity alone, including such mysteries as how angels fly, how Jesus ascended into Heaven, and how Satan fell when cast out of Paradise.

The ECFR, in conjunction with the Christian Coalition and other Christian conservative action groups, is calling for public-school curriculums to give equal time to the Intelligent Falling theory. They insist they are not asking that the theory of gravity be banned from schools, but only that students be offered both sides of the issue "so they can make an informed decision."

"We just want the best possible education for Kansas' kids," Burdett said.

Proponents of Intelligent Falling assert that the different theories used by secular physicists to explain gravity are not internally consistent. Even critics of Intelligent Falling admit that Einstein's ideas about gravity are mathematically irreconcilable with quantum mechanics. This fact, Intelligent Falling proponents say, proves that gravity is a theory in crisis.

"Let's take a look at the evidence," said ECFR senior fellow Gregory Lunsden."In Matthew 15:14, Jesus says, 'And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.' He says nothing about some gravity making them fall—just that they will fall. Then, in Job 5:7, we read, 'But mankind is born to trouble, as surely as sparks fly upwards.' If gravity is pulling everything down, why do the sparks fly upwards with great surety? This clearly indicates that a conscious intelligence governs all falling."

Critics of Intelligent Falling point out that gravity is a provable law based on empirical observations of natural phenomena. Evangelical physicists, however, insist that there is no conflict between Newton's mathematics and Holy Scripture.

"Closed-minded gravitists cannot find a way to make Einstein's general relativity match up with the subatomic quantum world," said Dr. Ellen Carson, a leading Intelligent Falling expert known for her work with the Kansan Youth Ministry. "They've been trying to do it for the better part of a century now, and despite all their empirical observation and carefully compiled data, they still don't know how."

"Traditional scientists admit that they cannot explain how gravitation is supposed to work," Carson said. "What the gravity-agenda scientists need to realize is that 'gravity waves' and 'gravitons' are just secular words for 'God can do whatever He wants.'"

Some evangelical physicists propose that Intelligent Falling provides an elegant solution to the central problem of modern physics.

"Anti-falling physicists have been theorizing for decades about the 'electromagnetic force,' the 'weak nuclear force,' the 'strong nuclear force,' and so-called 'force of gravity,'" Burdett said. "And they tilt their findings toward trying to unite them into one force. But readers of the Bible have already known for millennia what this one, unified force is: His name is Jesus."

An ionocraft or ion-propelled aircraft, commonly known as a lifter, is an electrohydrodynamic device (utilizing an electrical phenomenon known as the Biefeld–Brown effect) to produce thrust in the air, without requiring any combustion or moving parts. The term "Ionocraft" dates back to the 1960s, an era in which EHD experiments were at their peak. In its basic form, it simply consists of two parallel conductive electrodes, one in the form of a fine wire and another which may be formed of either a wire grid, tubes or foil skirts with a smooth round surface. When such an arrangement is powered up by high voltage in the range of a few kilovolts, it produces thrust. The ionocraft forms part of the EHD thruster family, but is a special case in which the ionisation and accelerating stages are combined into a single stage.

The device is a popular science fair project for students. It is also popular among anti-gravity or electrogravitics proponents, especially on the Internet, where it is commonly referred to as a lifter. This term is somewhat of a misnomer, since it implies the force can act only against gravity, which is clearly not the case; the magnitude of thrust is totally independent from the mass of the device and its direction is always in the direction of its own axis. Claims of the device working in a vacuum have also been disproven. Due to its popularity, the lifter was featured and vacuum tested in the Discovery Channel science program MythBusters, episode 68. The effect was determined to be thrust rather than anti-gravity.

Ionocrafts require many safety precautions due to the high voltage required for their operation, and also the risk of premature death from heart or lung disease due to the inhalation of their ionised air product, ozone. A large subculture has grown up around this simple EHD thrusting device and its physics are now known to a much better extent.

Interesting non the less.

According to the latest quantum boys and gals there is actually no such thing as gravity.

What we thought of as gravity is in fact 'indentations' - bear in mind this is the dummies explanation - in the fabric of Space Time.

Best way to imagine it is as Space Time being a table-cloth that is held in four corners and the planets, stars, etc, are billiard balls making indentations in the cloth which, in turn, attract other bodies to orbit them.

Of course, Time is merely a Human concept

Essential reading for those interested in the nature of scientific theory is Thomas Kuhn's "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Structure...fic_Revolutions

Kuhn's approach to the history and philosophy of science has been described as focusing on conceptual issues: what sorts of ideas were thinkable at a particular time? What sorts of intellectual options and strategies were available to people during a given period? What types of lexicons and terminology were known and employed during certain epochs? Stressing the importance of not attributing modern modes of thought to historical actors, Kuhn's book argues that the evolution of scientific theory does not emerge from the straightforward accumulation of facts, but rather from a set of changing intellectual circumstances and possibilities. Such an approach is largely commensurate with the general historical school of non-linear history.

===

In any community of scientists, Kuhn states, there are some individuals who are bolder than most. These scientists, judging that a crisis exists, embark on what Thomas Kuhn calls revolutionary science, exploring alternatives to long-held, obvious-seeming assumptions. Occasionally this generates a rival to the established framework of thought. The new candidate paradigm will appear to be accompanied by numerous anomalies, partly because it is still so new and incomplete. The majority of the scientific community will oppose any conceptual change, and, Kuhn emphasizes, so they should. In order to fulfill its potential, a scientific community needs to contain both individuals who are bold and individuals who are conservative. There are many examples in the history of science in which confidence in the established frame of thought was eventually vindicated. Whether the anomalies of a candidate for a new paradigm will be resolvable is almost impossible to predict. Those scientists who possess an exceptional ability to recognize a theory's potential will be the first whose preference is likely to shift in favour of the challenging paradigm. There typically follows a period in which there are adherents of both paradigms. In time, if the challenging paradigm is solidified and unified, it will replace the old paradigm, and a paradigm shift will have occurred.

It would probably be helpful to tell us what you do know about gravity and then we can take it from there.

We know what the effects of gravity are and we know the formulas that govern those effects, even if we don't know the exact nature of what gravity is, beyond the fact that it's a weak attractive force between objects proportional to their masses.

An ionocraft or ion-propelled aircraft, commonly known as a lifter, is an electrohydrodynamic device (utilizing an electrical phenomenon known as the Biefeld€“Brown effect) to produce thrust in the air, without requiring any combustion or moving parts.
I've seen these videos they exhibit a known scientific effect but they are unlikley to have any practical applications since they need a lot more energy to work (on an industrial scale) than using a crane or helicopter!

I did forget it, sorry!

No need Blankster. All I know is, if an apple drops on my head from a height it hurts.

Truth is, the only thing we know about gravity are form highly observant people like Newton and Einstein, with the brains and patience to understand it. Anybody trying to look intelligent by knowing about it, has merely remember their achievements.

Don't forget relativity!

This logic and rationalism that has swept into our culture is vile and degenerating.

Remember hating calculus at school? Well there is a much better system called VagueGuessulus that doesn't get taught at school because calculus makes people want to kill babies.

This moral slide into reality must be stopped at all costs!
