The system is about to crash again expect stock market drops over teh next 3 weeks, QE needs to be started up to slow down the economic collapse, the BOE has messed things up. Our government is broke should expect IMF hand out late october, or the more QE.

Yes, but - on the upside - no-one cares any more.

Very few people have both the facts and the knowledge to understand the full implications.

Of those that pass this test, many look simply to exploit the situation rather than help.

Those left who understand and in theory could help dont because in general they would have to come through the political sausage machine before getting to the power / decisions making roles.

We is so ferked!

+1 I'm getting the same sense of foreboding that I had last year prior to the banking sector being hours from collapsing. The most startling thing for me is that the 24 party people think its game on again... 2 people from work have decided to mark the end of the credit crunch by going to Hong Kong.... for a weekend! All on credit cards on the strength of bonuses that they think will be reinstated in October. I give up :(

North Sea summer maintenance.

(It's still running out, though. :( )

A taste of things to come, when a once abundant surplus turns into a structural deficit then it's a double loss, it's like replacing an engine with an anchor.
