Houses for sale in and around godalming... Price is rising up though.

Hi

Keep a database of the ones you are interested in, you'll be suprised to see that most of them go for at least 10% off asking price, often much more.

Many of the 'sold' properties have not come through land registry yet and I would be surprised if we didn't continue to see houses selling for less than asking.

Asking prices for 4-beds are continuing to fall in Godalming. I imagine selling prices are heading the same way. This is August - imagine how it will be in November.

I look at least 3-4 times a week. Right now on the first 3 pages of a Rightmove search, almost half of the houses have been on at significantly higher prices. Eg the one in Ockford road was on at 350+.

Thanks for that ,i never knew that the houses were selling for 10% below asking price. I thought they were 10% above asking price :D , but the average 4 bed on Hamptons is around 700,000 though.
