Greetings to all, I thought I would share my experiences over the past couple of months.

I am distinctly bearish about house prices but a growing family means I have been looking for somewhere more permanent to settle down...albeit at the cheapest price i can haggle for.

I have been hearing all this talk of prices rising etc etc but I am finding the market very different. Last month we looked at a nice place in Swindon and were told there would be absolutely no movement in price as they wouldn't accept less than asking price.....this week I was emailed for my opinion about the price and told they are now open to offers. In other examples I have hinted at putting in offers about 25% under the already reduced asking prices and this has been welcomed rather than scorned.

The houses are 4-5 bed family homes distributed throughout Wiltshire.

I just thought I would share

Have a nice day
