Boe Inflation Report

I think it's out today - I'm getting very excited!! I heard Mervyn has ordered some especially large fan charts.

I hear they're double the width of last year's fans, and that there's a whole page in the report devoted to playing down fan chart inflation through hedonic adjustment.

I think you've nailed it. I was thinking they probably tried increasing the upper and lower limit probability divergence angle from the tried and trusted 90' to a quantitively eased 180', but the graph didn't look very pretty - just a great big black expanse of unknown.

Things must be worse than I thought if they delaying it. It'll be a problem with the fan charts.

It was going to be today until the other members of the MPC realised what they thought was the data was just the HPC "boss" button showing on Merv's laptop.

Merv's got a bit of a cough, but is doing well. Recovery won't feel like a recovery, growth won't feel like growth on a 'human level' -the Gruniad journo quized him on optimisitic growth GDP figs.

How can the publish a graph like that while at the same time warning of a recoveryless recovery that won't feel like a recovery or add jobs like a recovery?!
