Are We In Britain Hard Hearted?

Recommended Posts

August 6th and 9th 2009 are the 64th anniversaries of the murder of hundreds of thousands of civilians the atomic bombing of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima nd Nagasaki. Yet there has been no mention of this on the media, and this at a time of increasing speculation of an attack by nuclear armed Israel against Iran.

Why have our hearts become so hard to the suffering of people?

Are you suggesting we should feel some kind of remorse for such a wondrous and heroic display of US military might?

Are you mad sir?

They should have definitely been remembered, your right.

64? What kind of a number is that? 70 yes. 60 yes. Perhaps even 65 on a slow news day, but 64?

And all because we have a base 10 counting system because we evolved to have ten fingers and it's too much hassle to use our toes for a base 20 system.

If they didn't want to get their own innocent civilians killed, they should have stuck to munching sushi and not raped Nanking.

It is not ok to kill other people's civilians and expect your own to be spared.

The filthy Jap dished out much worse than he received.

Enola gay, you should have stayed at home yesterday

Aha words cant describe the feeling and the way you lied

These games you play, theyre gonna end it more than tears someday

Aha enola gay, it shouldnt ever have to end this way

Its 8:15, and thats the time that its always been

We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and youre coming home

Enola gay, is mother proud of little boy today

Aha this kiss you give, its never ever gonna fade away

Enola gay, it shouldnt ever have to end this way

Aha enola gay, it shouldnt fade in our dreams away

Its 8:15, and thats the time that its always been

We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and youre coming home

Enola gay, is mother proud of little boy today

Aha this kiss you give, its never ever gonna fade away

:(

So I guess its ok that you or me die because Tony Blair ordered the invasion of Iraq? Your reasoning is pack instinct at its most primitive.

There were thousands of innocent deaths ot Hiroshima & Nagasaki, although lets not forget Tokyo.

The soldiers did, but why kill all those women, children and old folk? You are implying that innocence is no defence, that innocents should be slaughtered because they are related to men who kill. On this basis, if I were an Afghan who lost relatives in a NATO airstrike, would I be justified in attacking civilian targets in the West?

It's an important mark in History and needs to be remembered (whether right or wrong). If another nuclear bomb is dropped, you can be sure there will be retaliations.

It's horrific to imagine the state of our planet, if another moron like Hitler gets to power.

But Hitler didn't do this, the so called leaders of the free world did.

"The soldiers did, but why kill all those women, children and old folk?"

To prevail upon their soldiers/generals to look elsewhere.

****** with us, you get incinerated.

Seems to be what the record shows.

They deserved it.

Obviously it's a pity about their women and children but they should have thought about that before they started killing everyone else's.

Fairs fair.

How long ago does somehing have to be before you (as a member of the public) forget about it and it becomes history?

The Irish still bang on about the 1840s potato famine but we seem to stop at the living memory of WWI.

I have said this to people who have a WWII obsession, and asked their opinion on the Peninsular War of Wellington.

Not having a go you understand, just wondering how and why things fade from the popular memory.

Scotch faggot.

You really are a ******ing lunatic. You have previously shown a very poor grasp of world war two history in other threads and yet here you are again on another war thread talking horseshit. Again.

Please try to control your ramblings.
