How Come A Lack Of Inflation/deflation Threads ?!?!

Recommended Posts

They've been done to death... it's become clear we are getting cost inflation combined with asset and wage deflation.

Well that means inflation then doesn't it? I'd really like a definition of what some people on here think inflation and deflation are.

Inflation/deflation? It's a pyramid collapse, stupid. Like in Albania in 1996 - 1997.

For those who do not get it, I suggest reading an analysis accepted as evidence and published by the House of Commons Treasury Committee. I just wonder why this is not discussed more by politicians and in the media.

And generally try to follow this blog. A bit heavy duty stuff but really tells what's going on.

maybe to most of us the type of 'flation is irrelevant because the end effect is the same on our wallets/purses. Much of the flation is well hidden at the moment.

They were mostly amoral threads, with people arguing how best to use Armageddon as a investment opportunity

And although it still may happen in the longer term, the Armageddon hyperinflationistas (no names mentioned) have gone pretty quiet on the subject, and don't need reminding that State failure etc were all supposed to be likely by June.

if by investment you mean survival, I fail to see a moral issue
