Last Night I Dreamt The Future Of The Uk

Recommended Posts

The main star was Kurt Russell and it was called "Escape from the UK".

It started when an electric helicopter (now the only way to travel) full of bank bosses on a trip back from Zurich developed a battery fault and crashed landed. It came down outside Financialdom and landed in Serfdom. Financialdom was occupied by rich bankers and city boys and had fortified towns that they named after currencies as a memorial to when they had paper money. Instead of money the people all had implants and were connected wirelessly, purchases were made by thought alone. The helicopter landed between Sterlingtown and Dollartown. As it landed the people broke out the emergency kit - scruffy threadbare clothes - they knew anyone seen in a flash suit in Serfdom would be shot on sight.

The Finance Board in Financialdom (they controlled the country after doing away with politicians) contacted US leader Warren Buffett and asked if he could send over Snake Plissken. After a bit of haggling about the price and expenses he was sent over. When he got here Snake did his usual stuff, rounded up the "good" guys, repaired the helicopter and started flying it Sterlingtown. However instead of landing it he jumped out safely while the helicopter crashed into the Finance Board headquarters.

I'm surprised they got Snake Plissken aren't you? He never sides with the "good" guys at the end does he?

The helicopter landed somewhere between Stirling and Dollar? That's dangerously close to Alva. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

In fact, it's just safer to stay out of Clackmannanshire completely :)
