That Wasn't Quite What I Intended...

I want to start the day with a smile...

I was idly trawling through 50 pages of an ex-pat thread last night and found a poster waiting to emigrate who sold his house at a good price eighteen months ago, but faced a year or more before he could finally leave.

Against his wife's wishes, rather than rent, he bought a cheap probate bungalow 'to pick up some profit while I'm waiting'.

He's still in that bungalow, can't even get his money back, and I think now has to start the documentation process all over again.

Not surprised he can't sell it, what with all those embarrasing little leaks that probate problems can bring.
