Today We Found Exactly What We Wanted And Bought.

Recommended Posts

My wife and I were passing a butchers this morning and saw a magnificent looking piece of beef, a rib roast, and we couldn't resist it.

Let's hope it tastes as good as it looks, but if it doesn't, as we still have some money left, we can buy something else for dinner tomorrow.

All back to your place for dinner. I'll let the rest of HPC know.

You could have rented a perfectly acceptable chicken, but no...

We sold our chicken at the top of the market several years ago and are now renting a vegetarian.

I bought a rib roast in 2001. Can't get rid of it for love nor money now. Somebody viewed it yesterday, said it smelt and put in an offer 20% below asking. Cheek!

Sorry, too late. It was delicious though, so glad we bought.

Liver and bacon tomorrow, yum.

With a nice onion gravy, some savoy cabbage, floury potatoes, and a good bottle of red wine.

Is that the food equivalent of a detached with conservatory and hot-tub ?

The conservatory I'd take - you can grow some peppers, tomatoes, and grapes maybe. Not sure of a practical use for a hot-tub - give it to me though I'll find a use for it sooner or later.
