Rightmove Isn't Safe

Recommended Posts

I've just logged onto Rightmove and Norton has reported the site isn't safe because it has a 'downloader' virus. Should I be worried?

I would hazard that the Norton is the real danger to your system.

It's just it's never reported the site before today. I wondered whether the IT experts on here are able to detect something new on Rightmove.

Maybe Norton is trying to protect you from being infected with EA bullsh1t... No more BBC news for you!

I am worried.

As you have seen, there is something strange going on with rightmove.

I too have never had rightmove reported by Norton.

I have rightmove as my homepage with property bee.

Big red warning came on from Norton for rightmove, when I first connected to the net this morning.

then my lappy switched itself off, and I can't get my lappy working on the net again.

It said there was a problem with windows, and norton had been deleted.

I am not techy, so hubby will look at it tonight.

Hope it hasn't wrecked my lappy.

(am having to post now on another old lappy)

edit... typo

You may have been redirected to a different site from the real Rightmove.

You mean something like a property at a realistic 2009 value?

Yes, Norton is a terrible program. Get rid of it now.
