Their Pinner House was valued at £1M (this was filmed in May 2008). Its still on with RightMove now: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sa...l?premiumA=true At £825,000! They paid around £80k for it in the 1980's The programme will be available here shortly: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006vb2f/episodes/upcoming Edited July 30, 2009 by HostPaul TAFKA Rover2000

It's an OK place - in parts - but nothing special. Even at it's new price, £825k for that shoebox is taking the pi55. I'd say £400k on a good day. Pinner is one of the nicer suburbs in North London, but this place is 1,500 sqft - not a great deal bigger than a standard semi. £825 sounds like it should have been the peak price to me - £1m is just crazy. The owners will be a little unhappy with that given that they were hoping to extract £300k in equity for retirement. Then again what they were hoping to buy would have fallen too (in theory). So sell for £1M buy for £700k. Edited July 30, 2009 by HostPaul TAFKA Rover2000

@contradevian
Where did they escape to? Didn't watch the end (busy). They were looking for smaller places in East Sussex. It would seem they didn't escape at all if Rightmove is anything to go by. Should be on iPlayer shortly.
