I've just spotted this on 'This is money' messageboard. ....

ING investments are currently safeguarded up to !00,000 euros per person under the Dutch scheme, but only until October 7th 2009. Does anyone know what that figure reverts to if the period of one year is not extended?

I've no idea what the answer is, but you may want to find out

I can't see this 3.25% offer on their website. DO you have a link?

As title of thread says 'existing WEB saver account holders only' ...... could be worth giving them a free call though on

0800 376 6666 to see if they can do anything for you , when my bonus ran out with Tesco i went to move my cash out

to a better rate so to keep me they offered another years bonus and i got them to confirm it in writing to me as well.

Well I do keep my lose change in ING already - at 2.75% If I can get 3.25% then I might put some more in. Don't see any online evidence to support that though.

What does the second line in the topic title say ??

It says "existing web saver account holders only"

Which I am.

There still should be some reference to it somewhere. Why would they do this and not tell anyone. What would be the point?

Web saver accounts were stopped well over a year ago they are no longer advertised on ING's home page , ALL those who still have a 'web saver' account were offered the 6 month bonus by e-mail and post , i suspect you have just the ordainary ING savings account and not the web saver account ....... you are likely confused by the similar type named accounts by the same bank ;) ... a bit like Tesco currently have their 'Internet Saver' and their 'Instant access account'

Ah yes that would explain it. Thanks. Back to Alliance & Leicester Plan A then.
