Question is would this stand up in court? If you could prove reasonable care wasn't taken because they couldn't be sued would the judge uphold the above? I wouldn't worry about Tamiflu, it's not like taking a vaccine. However, you should never take Tamiflu unless you really need to because it becomes much less effective each time you use it. None of these vaccines would have contained Squalene though. The seasonal flu vaccine doesn't even contain it AFAIK. A study linking squalene, as experimental vaccine adjuvant, to individuals with the clinical signs of Gulf War syndrome was published in 2002. The published findings strongly suggest that the squalene contaminated vaccines could be responsible for the Gulf War Syndrome symptoms seen in the study group, and recommended that a large scale epidemiological study be performed to verify or correct this.[4] Despite repeated assurances that the vaccine was safe and necessary, a U.S. Federal Judge ruled that there was good cause to believe it was harmful, and he ordered the Pentagon to stop administering it in October 2004. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squalene I won't be making any decisions until I see the full data sheet from GSK. Newsnight had a doctor on slaughtering the govt over this. 20 times as many people will die of the winter flu virus but they don't get a helpline or a website. Trustworthy or not, for the government to grant manufacturer-immunity is not the same as granting itself immunity. From the documentary about the 1976 vaccination programme: "and now 4000 Americans are claiming damages from Uncle Sam amounting to 3.5 billion dollars..." That makes perfect sense. I for one crossed that threshold and suffered an allergic reaction to it during property porn. It's not a secret at all. The technical name is Thimerosal (mercury) and it's used as a preservative in flu vaccines.
