Are you sure?

If yours and mine both sell the average prices will be going up.

Cheer's for that link, I've passed that place a few times and wondered what it was like. Walk round the loch and you pass the gates at the bottom of the garden.

Don't fancy cutting that grass tho (or coughing up the 5 mill!)

Selling for 40-45k in that area circa 2005, presumably in good nickk.

Distressed sale, flat roof, and possibly non-standard construction. Wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole!

Take your point that prices are coming down though, and it's the dross like this that will lower average sold prices.

How much was that house in the link when I originally posted it? I've just got another email about it today at £4.25M but wasn't it £5m?

It was indeed 5m. Is there any change in the package though? I seem to remember it had 3 or 4 houses on the estate, plus gate house, and a paddock at @ 20 acres. Are they breaking it up?

Edit: Nope, looks like the same brochure, just 750k lopped off the asking price! Wonder if the Montgomery family fortunes have taken a blow?
