Worth about ten US cents when he got hold of it.

Apparently the highest denomination note was 10 trillion.

Note the expiry date...California heading this way??

I don't understand where all that QE money is going.

After all the theory says we should have inflation by now ... but we don't.

So is someone stashing all the cash and then going to unleash it at some stage ?

If it doesn't have any effect will the government keep printing it, thus when people do unleash it releasing a massive run on the pound ?

It scares me. Seems a bit like drinking a pint of weedkiller, then drinking another after 20 seconds or so cos you don't feel bad ...

We had the inflation. It was in property and land prices, which are off-balance-sheet when you measure inflation by sterling-cost of chinese goods.
