Depends what you want it for, and how much you're willing to pay:

I have a Brompton, it's excellent fold, but limited as a bike. You then have a vast range by Dahon covering most purses and preferences. Top end are the Airnimals, and above even then, you have the 'dissectable' bikes

This on line retailer has a good range (others are available):

You need to decide what you want it for and how much to spend.

Bear in mind folders tend to be more limited/less stable etc than non-folders. A lot of this is down to wheel size, and can be mitigated by your skill as a bike rider. I've bombed along in the US on my Brompton, really shocking the yanks out for some exercise on their road bikes, hybrids or mountain bikes a0 with how fast I am going 9faster than them) and b 0 what i am managing to ride on it....

Regular cycle commuter here; unless it has to be folding don't bother buy a proper road bike with drop handles. If it does have to fold then a Dahon is a good bet. Or the Raleigh which is made by Dahon but costs half the price.

This thread died faster than my BNP Tune Of The Day thread, surely it deserves better. Try a relaunch under the title BNP Folding Bike Deals?

I hate drop handles. Why would you want to bend over to go to work? The upright position the Dutch adopt is the best. Though of course, with a folder you can't have either as far as I know.
