When Will My Prices Become Statistics ?

Recommended Posts

I just sold My 1 bed quarter house for 69000 (completed 22 may) Gislingham

And bought a four bed detached place for 215000 (completed as above) Garboldisham,

When will these figures and others like them hit the stats ? coz I aint seen anything going for those prices now.

And I reckon the fall wont stop till it hits 3 time average wage for a 3 bed semi.

Welcome Doitcheaper!

I believe it takes a good 3 months for the property sales to show up on things like Zoopla/Nethouseprices etc. But the statistics that they would have been included in (rightmove/Nationwide/RICS etc) would already have been published.

I read a great blog from the USA recently (wish I could find it to post, I thought it was in the Automatic Earth but I can't see it... pointing out that although the media are talking about green shoots etc, and that house sales are up for 3 months in a row... house sales are always up 3 months in a row at this point in the year. No matter if it's a p!ss poor year, these will be the 3 months that house sale pick up - even if it's only by a couple of houses extra per month!

This point in the annual sales cycle is always open for positive news, it will be the autumn that things will hit home again.
