Bt Offers Thousands Of Workers 'holiday Of Lifetime' On Quarter Pay

Recommended Posts

BT is offering people all sorts of deals reducing their work time, and it occurred to me that those people mentioned in there probably will now qualify for top-up tax credits?

I think this is just a ruse. Softening the unions up before they really start swinging the axe. Now they can say when they start sticking the P45s in the post, well we gave you an option ;) but you didn't take it.

I would imagine the vast majority of BTs employees are in a crap load of debt like the rest of the population. So taking a 75% pay cut and going on a round the world jaunt when the mortgage needs paying is not an option.
