geoffk
Squatters occupy MPs' 'main home' Labour MPs Ann and Alan Keen's 'main home' Mr and Mrs Keen say the home had 'been very special' to them Married Labour MPs Ann and Alan Keen have come under fire for claiming thousands of pounds on a second home near Parliament, while their designated main home is only 10 miles away. Now a group of men have taken direct action by squatting in the main home they say has been left unoccupied. The BBC's Lisa Hampele paid them a visit. The remnants from last night's barbecue with the neighbours are in the front garden - some cold sausages and decorations on the pot plant. The men have a legal notice on the front door which says these squatters have rights. They can stay. They moved into the west London property over the weekend and now they are adamant they will not budge. "We've paid for their home with our taxes - so we're going to use it," Bob says as he opens the front door to let me in. "You can see the Keens aren't using it." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8124763.stm
interestrateripoff
Saw this earlier, highly amusing. They shouldn't have left it empty.
