What possible relevance has this article to it`s closing paragraph - these rampers get everywhere ...

``As in the housing market, the smart money is on prices starting to pick up around Christmas. Until then, you have a chance to enjoy a long-haul trip at unbelievably low prices. Take it if you can. `

I disregard and dispose of most of the glossy and supplymental parts of a newspapers so I'm left with the a "core" with perhaps motoring and gadgets (in the case of the Sunday Times).

I find thats better for my blood pressure. I don't believe half the rich, happy attractive, couples featured outside their Surrey mansions, exist, and if they do are blatant self promoters who should endure at least a decade of forced labour on farms!

"According to Virgin Atlantic, since 1984 the average price of a British house has quintupled, the cost of a loaf of bread has trebled, a pint of milk has doubled, but air fares have actually fallen. "British travellers are currently paying the same in fares as when we launched the airline 25 years ago," said Virgin's president, Sir Richard Branson."

Oh well that's just bl@@dy great isn't it. We get to fly at uber-cheap prices at the expense of the lives of our future generations. YIPPEEEEEEE!!!

Yesterday Tesco had a TV advert for their £2 Chicken AAAARRRRGGGGHHH

Perhaps by "Christmas" they mean the second coming of Christ? I quite like the idea of house price inflation being a sign that the end of the world is nigh.
