6 Months In....and The Bears

Recommended Posts

Evening all

I lurked for ages on here, then started really reading about 6 months ago, joined and still enjoy the genuine amongst all the crazies.

I have to say that IMO and despite mainstream press continually ramping, the bears on here who know their economics seem to be calling it right - forget 80% falls!

Its opened my eyes completely, and I let a property go (brand new 3 bed mews - deposit paid) on the insight gleaned from some (not all!) of the information posted here.

So whats the point of this post?

Well, ive been asigned overseas work for between 3 and 6 months - cancelled my rental that i was about to move into - and am gonna leave this site alone for that duration.

When i get back, I really hope the general sentiment on here and the UK in general in 3-6 months is as I currently see things unfolding as far as house prices go. The bears seem to be right.

For all you newbies and potential house purchasers, I would listen to those that so far appear to know what the Fu** they are talking about.

And for what its worth, I havent looked at Shightmove for at least a month, and boy o boy, not constantly trawling through delusional house owners and idiotic EA prices, I certainly feel a whole lot less inclined to worry about what house prices are doing....

Hope to be back sometime before xmas.
