cashinmattress
Farm auctioned at 1,500 times sold price A Wiltshire farm is being auctioned at 1,500 times the £300 it last sold for in 1895.Bellamy's Fram in Brinkworth (pictured) is being offered with a guide price of between £400,000 and £450,000 at auction next week. The winning bidder in 1895 was the tenant who had been paying £32 a year in rent to live there. A second farm, based in Swindon, is being offered at the auction. The property on Guernsey Lane is a wing of a Grade II-listed former farmhouse. A building plot in Quemerford with planning permission for a three-bedroom house will also be offered at a guide price of between £140,000 and £160,000, alongside an eighteenth century, two-bedroom cottage in Compton, Oxfordshire, with a guide price of between £100,000 and £120,000. Is this what we have to deal with from here on? But, what if it were this guys farm?
