Recommended Posts

It is gorgeous.... im sure there will be someone stupid enough to buy it the wrong side of half of that asked....

Looks like a solid investment , you can expect to read about a bidding war in the BT anytime

Having a surf around everyones favourite EA and i found this:

700k in this market are they nuts?

From a personal point of view, I just cannot see how anyone can see this as a good buy. It is such a rip off, it does not offer you value for money. Can anyone imagine what you could self build in the country with £700,000?

Also, I went to the show room of this place linked below. Now I hear the asking prices are down some what and this type of place can be for over £500,000 now...but look at the 50 pics or that...it is some apartment. I went to the showroom for this place, and when I was there I stayed in a hotel opposite near as it was just finished it is mightly impressive...

Sizes range between 3000-5500 square feet. Own private swimming pool on balcony for every apartment, two floors, master bedroom with lovely jacuzzi, top class finish throughout with top materials, bedrooms ensuite, amazing gym and large pool on 6th floor.

Even in the US now, you could have an amazing place for this money, I mean true luxury, same in Oz, New Zealand...for me it is not only the cost which shows how our property is over priced, but the what you actually get for your money when you compare it around the world with similar high end places.

only just seeing this forum now.

yeah the above mentioned flat was withdrawn. 700k is absolutely crazy, they also had a 2 bed penthouse. lovely on for 985k which was withdrawn and i missed renting it as i wouldnt pay more than the 1300£ rental price.

nice development ive viewed a few flats to rent there. McGinnis I hear is in a strong financial position so can sit on some of the top end flats which are unsold.

There have been 2 rounds of price cuts in his Stratford House development. 1300 sq ft 2 beds will shortly trend down below 250k (expensive) but a hell of a lot better value than these penthouses.

LOOK what 700k gets you in usa (i was there 2 weeks ago so i did) especially florida ,in the far east penang/singapore/hong kong etc. even in london 700k would by me a penthouse in trendy islington where i work when over there.

belfast is crazy prices. uk is crazy prices.
