frankief
Working people never benefited from the boom Apart from brickies, joiners, plasterers, electricians, plasterers, plumbers etc etc who were all raking the cash in, some of them weren't exactly tradesmen either. SNACR
I expect them to make the workforce redundant like all the other companies because the boom bust cycleis an inescapable part of the capitalist system. Working people never benefited from the boom but are expected to take the full brunt of the bust. Are you sure? Someone was buying all those shiny new cars and taking all those foreign holidays. In general workers did not benefit from the boom. Those working in the bulding trade did but it was all monopoly money because it was money people borrowed from the banks who we are now having to bail out. Working people have yet to pay the bill. bogbrush
Fudge, you use the word "bosses" a lot. The generally accepted definition of a boss is going to include what are basically senior workers - managers. Do you recognise the difference between a proprieter of a business and the senior management, and do you appreciate any differences between the two? No I dont appreciate any difference they are all of much of a sameness. They all manage the system on behalf of the capitalists.

While we're at it, at what point do you stop being a "worker" and become a "boss"? Is it at middle manager level, or foreman/supervisor?
