About 20 years ago, I restored a pre-unit Triumph Tiger100 in a BSA frame.

It's been in storage for since the early 1990s and I was thinking of dragging it out and getting it running again

Actually, I have plans for something much more ambitious. I want to build a twin engined pre-unit Triumph drag bike

Any other bike nutters out there??????

There's a lot of bike nutters on here. To kick off I'll post a bike I bought and sold for a song when I was young and daft.

Not this specific example, but an identical one, in same condition.

OOOOHHHH!

A TR5 with the generator set alloy barrels! VERY RARE bike

LOADSA DOSH!

I've got the T100 with alloy barrels and 8:1 pistons on a 5T bottom end. I bought it in 1983 for £300. It was an absolute dog

Some sicko fitted the motor into a BSA A7 frame.

It's nice but it still needs some sorting out. I wasn't an engineer when I started the project so I learned alot of things about engines, magnetos and suchlike very quickly

I'll have to see if I can dig out a photo of it

How about this for INSANITY!

gunbus-1.jpg

The fuel injected, 45 degree 6728 cc / 410 cubic inch ( :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: ) V-Twin runs through a 3 speed transmission with reverse and actually looks pretty good in its finished state compared to the initial photos, in fact, everything looks good. It puts out 523 foot pounds of torque. Seat height is 31.5 inches and overall length is 136 inches. It is a little heavy at 1433 pounds so high speed corner carving might be an issue and there aren’t any photos of the big bike on the road so I guess we’ll have to wait for the road test, that is if someone can actually road test this monster.

:lol::lol::lol:

Squse me while I try to stop laughing my face off
