Mortgage Lending Down In May !

Despite the apparent recovery in the housing market mortgage lending was down in MAY.

Did we see loads of cash purchases pushing prices up or was the so called spring bounce just a load of bullox ?

They just cant wait to 'recover' to massive HPI can they ?

FFS why ?? Dont the press/media realise there are just as many people hoping that house prices fall as there are hoping they will rise. If there is a ' recovery' to massive HPI that will surely collapse whats left of the banks as the only way they're going to get massive HPI is to allow sub-prime debt again !!

Seems to me we're living in disinformation Britain. Rising unemployment and rising house prices who do they think they're kidding ?

92% increase in cash purchases.

This is a result of gun at head interest rate manipulation. That willing/stupid/driven cash is going to run out fast.
