I Didnt Buy A House Recently

An STR by definition is NO BEAR - just another speculator

We need to see what happens after all these STRs and cash-rich buyers have finished piling in.

I remain a Bear.

What would you define as a bear then?

For what it's worth I think we should expand it to ShouldBears and WillBears, and ShouldBulls and WillBulls

Pretty clear to me that until unemployment and high interest rates correct the market, all the figures are akin to casualty figures in the phony war of 1939, which is to say a postponement of what must follow.

Ah.... because this is not UK typical housing market, it is not THE MARKET

But the site is full of brainless lurkers coming on here for a quick speculative advice

Guess I am wasting my time anyway

Who said the BULL TRAP isn't going to catch any BEARS?

This is the question of definitions

You can call yourself a BEAR whilst being nothing more than uneducated speculator following the main stream media

Sorry for repeating myself - an STR is a speculator and a cash buyer

UK market is a ladder and a mortgage market, cash is outside this particular market

Well, I for one am shocked to see some high deposit buyers buying in time when the stats are showing high deposit buyers are buying. I suspect I'll be equally shocked when the big flaming ball descends from the heavens and plunges the land into darkness again at about 10pm today.

Personally, it's 'bear' for me until it becomes clear the conditions for something approaching a sustained recovery are in place, which if you discount having a good percentage of the banking system being on life support, and completely and utterly unsustainable government* borrowing and spending, they are now ;)

* I hear they employ a few people. Is this true?
