Question Time

Recommended Posts

This one sounds like it will be boring.

The panel will include Secretary of State for Wales Peter Hain, Conservative shadow communities secretary Caroline Spelman, Liberal Democrat home affairs spokesman Chris Huhne, joint secretary general of Unite Derek Simpson, and director of Global Vision Ruth Lea.

I bet those Welsh tight-wads give Caroline Spelman a terrible time for fiddling her expenses to the tune of 9k to pretend her babysitter was her secretary...should be fun! If her fiddles had come to light now instead of last year, Cameron would have iced her

Oooh, is it him? Should be a tad more exciting that I was expecting then.

I predict a discussion on Ronaldo's transfer.

Given that for the last 2 weeks - on Question time - those appearing have had a really hard time - i.e. been given a reality check about how the public really feel - is it any wonder that the BBC have had a hard time rolling out the "A" or even "B" listers and that now they are left with the C, D or E's of the policitcal class.

It is depressing that the Policitians have a choice in whether they appear or not - I think it should be like our taxes - and what we must do for our jobs and to be in society - it should be part of their "on-call" contract - given that the rest of us must be 24/7 - I think they should too.

Particularly since so many of them claim their 1st houses are in London - which is within spitting distance of Birmingham - and the govt aren't meeting tonight for a late night session - and they all went home today at 4pm!

Question from audience:

"Blah blah , BNP, blah,Blah, BNP, blah blah, BNP"

Answer from first panel member chump that gets to the floor:

"The BNP the racist scum I hate them all"

Sits back and waits for applause.

<TOKEN APPLAUSE>

Jesus this is horrible.

socialist illiterate northern union half wit, representative of the working classes indeed

The BBC have to pick him up for the show in a Delorean so they can take him back to the 1980s.

BNP voter speaking now " I voted BNP 'cos i am a thick rascist thug"

Kudos to the guy for having the balls to admit to it on national TV. Not many folk would. He also admitted it was a protest vote.

That's so not right - the guy pointed to in the audience and ALL of those invited to speak on this subject matter were not thugs of any sort - and the guy that admitted to voting for BNP - said it was because of jobs.

Sorry - please don't spread such silly stuff on this site - it's not appropriate amongst a wide range of people of diverse backgrounds.

Too right. Before he started talking he was booed. He then made his point, and pretty well. He was simply an angry punter who had had enough of the usual parties. I see where he was coming from.

You know the most pathetic thing ? Once he had finished speaking you could tell most of the audience actually agreed with him.

However - they were simply too scared to pipe up and admit it. They just sat there with their arms crossed happily being 'offended'.

Many think the the BNP vote is a disgrace for this country. I personally think the REACTION to the BNP vote is the real disgrace to this country.

You must be watching a 'state approved' feed - because that's clearly NOT what he said. You're making it up - he may not have been a rocket scientist (Nazi or otherwise) but he freely admitted he voted BNP as a protest against the rest of the parties who have not been representing him - and there are millions like him who feel like this - he did not say he wants to go pakibashing, woglynching or yidbeating - he said he was a previous labour and tory voter who felt disillusioned.

What did you think he said ?
