I recollect a thread on HPC about it. Not the exact timing, but it was when sterling was bumping around $1.40-ish. Since then, sterling has risen nearly 20%.

While the comments made are valid it would carry more weight if Rogers and Soros were not successful currenct speculators and the comments came at Sterlings nadir (so far anyway)

Its not as if any of the other major currencies dont have problems and anyone who did the opposite of what Rogers suggested would be sitting on a healthy profit today.

The fundamentals for the UK are pretty bleak in the long run but speculators don't consider the "long run"
