Tin Foil Hat
I hope they go to the lib dems. They're the only alternative party to the ConLabs we have.* * Yeah yeah I know there's a lot of alternatives but they're going nowhere in the short term. freef4ll
Given they are spineless pussies who are too scared to oust their lunatic and chief you'd assume the Tories. I refuse to believe ideology will stand in their way, the trough dictates all as we have seen tonight.
SarahBell
It was put up or shut up time this evening. They should all resign as mps can have by-elections
Te Mata
Something will have to give if Brown and his peers don't. The Lib Dems don't want an influx of bloody illiberal socialists. The orange bookers are just getting on top of the SDP faction. Let them start a breakaway party. ...spelling Edited June 8, 2009 by Bullish on Bearishness
Radge
Breakaway faction? Defections? You are operating under the delusion that any of them are men or women of principle. At the moment they have calculated that they are fecked next May, with or without the Prime Mentalist. They may as well all be fecked together and position themselves for the illusory 'next generation' of Labour leadership.
blankster
The Lib Dems don't want an influx of bloody illiberal socialists The 'Dems' part of Lib Dems was just that, the old SDP that was started by a breakaway group of Labour MPs. You are operating under the delusion that any of them are men or women of principleAh, but some of the better ones might calculate that if they join the Lib Dems now they'll have time to build up some cred in the Lib Dems in time for the next election. And they can always defend themselves with: "It's the Labour Party that's changed, not my political views".
