The BBC seem to be making a big deal of this speech. Is something about to happen?

Sky suggested it was purely a Brown PR exercise.

Seems that way so far!

Sorry, this seems a false alarm. The BBC beforehand were talking about Lord Falkner calling for a leadership election and some other interviews this morning. I thought they were hinting something, but it is just more GB blah blah blah.

This is making me cringe. First mention of the economic crisis coming any minute now.

have there been any recent opinion polls on the party leaders?

i'm sure browns rating is so low that every appearance just loses a few thousand more votes.

aww he got a couple of nice letters from subjects who benefitted from his excellent policies. That's nice.

I wonder if he'll read off what his subjects put on the top of his No. 10 Downing St. Petitions page too?

:P
