It's a good job there is an anti Tory vote, but no anti Labour vote then isn't it?

I can't imagine what would happen to Labour if people though GB was a useless ****.

How ******* useless does a government have to be before people stop supporting it? Labour still got 23% of the votes for christ's sake (apologies to Saint Kirsty for the use of her favourite "blasphemy").

Yes naught OP. There have only been 17 seats declared out of 84, and 5 of those were in Burnley. Of those the tories have won 9 taking 5 from Labour. Once the posh bits and the rural seats start declaring the Con share will go up rapidly.

Very naughty OP, I didn't realise , no wonder the results for BNP were so high they just fell again 11.56% from the Ops 19%

Spectacular results coming from Lancashire Labour have lost 14% of the vote,on 23% down from 37%

Liberals have taken 28% up from 19%. Tories DOWN 7% at 30%. BNP from 2% up to 19%.

We knew things were bad for Labour but on this showing the Tories have no chance at the general election.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Brilliant. Conservatives now showing as up 1% at 38%. Labour down to 22%.

i think you are being unfair. There are plenty of people who feel they have benefitted from Nu Labour. Minly those on benefits, but still.

I am not one of the 23% btw.

A lot of people use these type of elections to make a protest, I did along with a lot of my close aquaitances. In general elections I will reconsider again where I vote.

The only story to come out of these elections along with the European elections will be the abosolute trashing of Labour.

I think UKIP will have done particularly well in the Euro elections.

Most of the Labour votes will probably be postal votes

Say no more.

Also Ex Conservative voters are more likely to vote Lib Dem than BNP

The vast majority of the BNP vote will have come from Labour

The BNP are socialists to the core

National Socialists yes

But Socialists neverthless

Yes, feckless, undecuated, scum have benefited at the detriment of the majority of decent folk.

The next government needs to do away with the don't need to work benefits sytem.

In effect Gordon tw@t face has used the state to buy votes, fu ck him.

The Tories WILL win the next general election unless they f*** up massively in the interim.

It's a done deal and anyone who thinks otherwise is misguided

It is far from being a 'done deal' for the Tories. Does Cameron capture the popular imagination? No, and it is what you need to do to unseat a Government. Labour are relaxed about a General Election next year because they know what is in the locker to shoot Cameron and his faceless cronies. Just hang in there, there is evrything to play for.

You missed out public sector workers and ethnic minorities.

The next general election is probably all or nothing for the Conservatives

The last chance they will have to gain power.

One more labour term and so much money would be handed out to their client state and further rigging of the electoral system would probably see Labour in power for generations.

If the Conservatives do win they have to redraw the electoral boundaries and get rid of 100-200 MP's altogether because at the moment the system is heavily biased in favour of Labour largely due to the over representation of Scotland, Wales and the old industrial heartlands.

This is one of the funniest posts I have read for a long time.

'Labour are relaxed............'

Labour will not only lose power they will be decimated, probably irrecoverably.

It's only Welsh twonks and their celtic chumps who give them their power. When Labour lose the next general election the number of MP's is going to be culled, guess where from? Yep, Scotland and Wales thus ensuring we never have this lot in power again. Or, Wales and Scotland feck off and go their own way. Scotland can swallow its banking sector and Wales can sing and sh_ag sheep both with go bust. England prosper's.
