House Prices Rising

Recommended Posts

Well you all know it now +2.6% - what fantastic news.

I hope you were all as pleased as I was when the great news came through?

This is the best news possible but not for the bulls but us bears.

This market has been falling fast and in order to achieve the expect 50% falls this is exactly what is needed.

There are many investors out there just waiting to jump into this market when it turns.

If we're gooing all the way then we need these people in and committed this is now happening :)

There isn't enough credit for a sustained rally and this will soak up a good chunk of investors funds.

Hopefully it will also delay the BTL crowd from selling too early ensuring a good ride down.

It's also important for bullish sentiment to take continuous hits so that capitulation when it comes is solid and universal.

So come on celebrate with me - the next leg down is now assured.

The banks and Govt will be very happy at this news. Not because they want recovereh, but because they are relying on the cash rich to take the hit of the bad debts from the HPC.

Days like today that will drag out those still sitting on big deposits. Including their latest ploy..........

Come on mum and dad. Your offspring havent bothered saving a deposit; put your money in a savings account with their mortgage provider. Your money is not at risk unless there is a problem. There will be no problem cos House prices are bouncing back! And you can trust a bank that is run by Gordon and his mates to make sound economic and financial decisions that are in the best interests of you the public. You've got to help your kids buy a house, it will show how they are grown up and able to accept responsibility.

Small print - if prices go down in future and your kids cant pay you lose your money

I always laugh at those kind of 'offers' from the banks. If people need to borrow vast sums of money from their parents to buy a house, then prices are clearly too high and unsustainable.
