Krugman On The Global Economy. It Really Is All Doom And Gloom.

Calling for another stimulus. Oh Je5u5...

so let me get this right. The guy who won the 2008 Nobel prize for economics is calling for more fiscal stimulus (printy, printy) to rescue the economy.

"Paul Krugman, who won the 2008 Nobel prize for economics, told the BBC that any recovery would be "so slow it would feel like a recession".

He is urging the US government to introduce a second stimulus package of $500bn (£300bn) to boost the economy."

h'mmm, I wonder who pays his wages eh. ;)

Bond market says "no".

It might not say no if/when the equity wheels fall off again. I seem to remember a rush into worthless dollar tokens last time that happened which caught a few smart-ar5es out.
