DrGUID
Since I bought a PS3 I hardly watch the telly any more. What's the point watching a war movie when you can participate in one!
Frank Hovis
I thought Michael Grade would be the saviour of ITV - ditching its silly talent competitions and poorly-written shows - but it seems he has merely come along and hammered a few more nails in the coffin. I thought that too. ITV shares had been going through a poor patch when he joined and I saw an opportunity to make a few quid because of his great track record but thought I'd hold off a few months to look for evidence that he had begun to turn it around. Those shares remain unbought, lucky escape!
DementedTuna
I don't own a TV. Lots of people like me in their early 20's who don't watch it. The internet is more interesting and sociable, and you don't have to wait for stuff or be there at a certain time just for the television. leicestersq
If ITV is fighting for its survival, then it needs to do something. If what it is currently doing isnt working, then it needs to do something different. So going subscription based through Sky is different. I have no idea if it will allow them to make a profit or not. But if they are failing at the moment, then they just have to give it a whirl. Unless someone can think of a better idea?
