Bbc London Sealed Bids

Recommended Posts

Coming up shortly. On BBC London tonight, apparently "sealed bids" for property are back. This follows "recovereh" in the housing market covered on the main news.

"Is the capitals housing market making a recovery with demand outstripping supply?"

Those with new TV's may not wish to watch, to avoid damaging the set!

Yeah, just saw it on London Tonight.

Blatant ramping.

If demand is outstripping supply why are there 1000s of London properties on RM that have not shifted in months?

Load of ******.

There was a "faux bear" on here with a post recently about office colleagues making sealed bids for houses and loosing out. Definitely massive media manipulation going on to change sentiment. Also flats with "all completed" on them. Developers that have "sold" to themselves I suspect.

It was a fairly even article actually. Even that EA on there didn't ramp as they usually do.

Just showing a few rich people in a select area willing to pay over the odds for a very few properties.

Yeh I thought that. A few sealed bids in Bayswater basically and a rather well healed retired couple sold for more than the asking price. Not "news" at all.

Irrelevant IMO, there will always be places with prices well out of reach for the majority of us, places where the rich and overseas cash rich buyers will want to buy..bit like the difference between a rolex and an accurist. ;)
