Well, if I was Gordon, I would be betting on myself HEAVILY, as only he knows what he's going to do.

He just has to give his carpenter brother a big BACs transfer and place the bet right at the cutoff. Retirement assured for the whole ugly Brown clan.

Hehe, but that is me.

I would certainly lay a bet at 16-1 that they lose the next election. The currency may have devalued by a afactor of 16 by then anyway

If that happens, what are their chances of winning tho?

I meant I would take someone elses bet at 16-1, seems like a sure thing that they would not win.

the same thought was about when Thatcher handed over to Major

but Major went on to win the next election

If Zanu have a coup then they have a reasonable chance of turning things around

with 1 year left to go , I would take that 16-1 bet and the 4/1 odds that Brown would be gone by

June 13th

I read or heard somewhere, that someone connected to the Labour party (a peer or someone similar) had a massive bet of £50,000 (if I remember rightly) on Labour losing the next general election. The bet was placed a few months back.

16/1 on Labour winning by a majority? you never see or hear of skint bookie, does anyone really think they would offer those odds on a few possible outcomes? If there was 16 posible outcomes, then the odds would kind of match the event.
