Uk Services Returns To Growth

Recommended Posts

But it doesn't say how much or from what level.

I know of one FTSE top 10 company where many IT service people have just been told they are effectively redundant and have to reapply for the newly specified posts (reduced in number of course). Doesn't seem very positive.

Is this a 'break-up boom' or a dead cat bounce?

With all the printed stuff flying out the central bankers vaults its pretty hard to decide which it could be.

Perhaps another spring bounce that will peter out.

Could be because of the devaluation of the pound, the UK exports a lot of services.

The Confidence in the PMI for the construction industry has gone through the roof as well.

Yesterday the manufacturing PMI was up as well but still in a contraction region.

Consumers are the most confident for the last 12 months announced yesterday as well.

So seems like the economy is healing itself. Very surprising because the Eurozone is still a complete disaster.
