Wail.

An estate agent went on a rampage in a luxury home his firm was selling while the owner was abroad, a court has heard. After a heavy drinking session, Joseph Young, 23, collected the keys to the £650,000 house from his office so he and two friends could continue to party.

Once inside, the trainee estate agent and friend Bradley Conway, 23, ripped out door frames and smashed chairs, statues and picture frames. They poured Tipp-Ex fluid over duvets and damaged a vintage car in the garage.

Conway was acting 'like a raging bull', smashing windows and hammering keys on the piano in the house, Guildford Crown Court heard.

He then stole the keys to the owner's Skoda and took it for a drunken joyride with Young. They smashed the car into a tree near the four-bedroom property, writing it off.

The pair, who caused £5,200 worth of damage inside the house in Deepcut, Surrey, were arrested by police soon afterwards.

Yesterday Young pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage but was cleared of stealing the car keys and aggravated vehicle taking. Conway had already admitted all three offences. The pair, both from Frimley, will be sentenced later.

The court heard that Young worked at Vickery & Co estate agents in Frimley, but had handed in his notice shortly before the incident on April 11 last year.

After a birthday party in a pub for another friend, Jamie Turvill, he decided the house would be the perfect location to continue their revelry.

Rachel Davies, prosecuting, told the jury: 'Mr Turvill realised things had got slightly out of hand when he witnessed the other two causing deliberate damage and he went and sat in Mr Young's car on the driveway.'

Mr Turvill, who was arrested but not charged with any offence, told the court: 'I had had enough. It was never the intention to go to the house and end up damaging property.'

He said he saw Young and Conway drive past him in the Skoda, and went back into the house to try to clear up the mess before being picked up by his father. Giving evidence, Young described Conway as someone who had 'gone crazy to the extent of being scary'.

'Brad was like a raging bull,' he said. 'I've never seen him like that before. His behaviour was completely outrageous. He was completely thuggish - a brute, basically.'

The owner of the house, Anthony Clench, was in Spain when the incident happened.

He told the court it was 'obviously not the happiest occasion' when he returned to find the scene of devastation. Mr Clench sold the house for £650,000 two months later.

That's one way to persuade the seller to accept a lower offer, I guess...

Cheers for the link, just read the article saying the house is in Deepcut which is not Frimley, Deepcut is where the barracks is and some new build houses. But if owned in Deepcut would say Frimley rather then Deepcut as it would seem 'better' based on the fact there is trees and their claim it is in Frimley I reckon it is on Lake Road and is between Deepcut and Frimley Green (place they have the darts) To be fair is not a bad location but I wouldnt want to live there
