Prediction For The Uk In Oct/nov/dec 2009

Recommended Posts

I don't like making predictions much, but I can't see how any of these 5 points can be avoided.

1. Swine flu will be at pandemic levels. Death rates will be low but it'll still make people scared and miserable.

2. Inflation and interest rates will be rising sharply.

3. Unemployment will still be rising fast, official figures will be 3m or above and rising.

4. It'll be dark, cold and wet.

5. A new government will be imminent or even in place, subsequently public spending will be decimated, especially if it's a Tory government, with all the knock-on effects that has.

To me this current euphoria is all a symptom of our 21st century goldfish attention spans, no-one can be bothered to look beyond the end of next week.

Have fun in the sun, bulls. My prediction is you'll be crying in the rain by December.
