Streetview!

See the streetview! Is that a boarded up door at first?

Half a million quid for a double shoebox just off the Mancunian Way. With magnolia/brown paint, Ikea furniture and laminate floor, of course. And just look at the great "views". :)

That's definitely one to save to show your kids/grandkids in a few years time.

I assume it's boarded up as its virgin commercial space. What they don't show you is that across the road is a big entrance to the MMU Sci & Eng Faculty.

As for the views, a drive along Manc Way or along the rail line between Oxford Rd and Picadilly still fascinates me.

As another poster says, the streetview is not of the property on sale. The property is a penthouse in a large building called the Quadrangle just near where I work. The ground floor is double height commercial space. The building was finished and most of the apartments sold about 3 years ago but they are only now managing to fill the commercial space, mainly with bars and restaurants.

That said, prices in that building haven't held up very well. The most recent price data on Rightmove is for Apartment 56, which sold for £148000 in June 2005 and £120000 in November 2008.
